Whether you call it a boil or a carbuncle; or for you it's a symptom of Hidradenitis Suppurativa (H.S.), Diabetes or Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) -- no matter... this is a site for you! This site is devoted to the issue of recurrent bouts of boils, furuncles, carbuncles. Sometimes this skin disorder that can be known as Hidradenitis Suppurativa, Verneuil's Disease, or Acne Inversa. Other times recurrent boils could be a symptom of another disorder or disease (such as diabetes or PCOS). And, still other times, there might not be any diagnosis. This site is intended as a resource for treatment, information & support for the people who suffer with these skin problems, and their family members. Please see the F.A.Q. for more information! The site is dedicated to those people who have lived for years with this chronic, painful and often debilitating condition. Here's hoping that one day we'll find a cause and a cure.
