The following are organizations that are affiliated with boils or Hidradenitis in some way. Scroll down further for support group information.
The National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD): A private, not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping people with rare disorders and assisting organizations that serve them. HS is considered a "rare condition". Please contact them if you are interested in contributing to a specific fund for HS, or for more information.
HS-USA: A forum for Hidradenitis Suppurativa patient advocacy and rights.
Support Groups
[Skin Diseases Newsgroups Archive]: Archive of postings for USENET newsgroups, including alt.support.skin-diseases and alt.support.skin-diseases.hidradenitis. Includes information on how to access the groups!
[Hidradenitis Support Group at Yahoo]: An online support and discussion group for sufferers of HS and their spouses (and you can remain as anonymous as you wish). This is an awesome resource. They have links to all sorts of support groups, information, etc.
[Hidradenitis Community Support]: Support group for those with Hidradenitis
[WeightLoss Hidradenitis]: Subgroup for members of the Hidradenitis group who are looking for weight loss support.
